Description of Stabbing Guide:

The purpose of stabbing guides is to prevent damage during makeup in the application of makeup (connecting) pipes.

These guides are made from high-grade steel and can be manufactured using nitrile rubber material or nylon material. They are designed to be easy to operate and effectively protect the screw threads of the pipes. Stabbing guides are versatile and can be used for tubing, casing, and drill pipe connections.

Specifically, the stabbing guide model SG is primarily used for protecting pipe connections when male and female connectors are being joined during oil or natural gas well drilling and well repair operations.
