Cementing Plugs: Our cementing plugs consist of graded rubber fused onto a composite or aluminum core. These plugs are designed to meet a wide range of needs in cementing operations. They are fully PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact) drillable, making them easy to remove after the cementing process.

Top Plugs: The top plug is used when a dual-plug system is not required. It applies continuous pressure on the casing wall to ensure a secure seal. The core of the top plug is made from materials such as plastic, aluminum, or phenolic, depending on the specific application and well conditions. The tapered base of the plug fits tightly into the cavity of the bottom plug, creating a positive seal. Additionally, a solid rubber top plug option is also available.

Bottom Plugs: Similar to the top plug, the bottom plug is equipped with fins and a tail section that provide effective wiping action and act as a seal during the cementing process. The core of the bottom plug is also made from special materials like plastic, aluminum, or phenolic, depending on the specific application and well conditions. At the top of the plug, there is a rubber diaphragm that ruptures after the plug is seated, allowing cement to flow through.

Our cementing plugs come in sizes ranging from 4 1/2" to 20", and we can accommodate special sizes upon request. When using an aluminum core, they can operate in temperatures of up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. For higher operating temperatures or operations involving synthetic or mud fluids, we offer custom ordering options to meet your specific requirements.
