The pump body of the rod pump is connected inside the tubing string by a support joint. On the tubing string, the selection of its specifications is directly limited by the size of the tubing and the unit discharge required by the customer. The qualification factors are slightly different (additional requirements are the selection of thin-walled rod pumps and thick-walled rod pumps).
